GSI has al­ways been one of the leader com­pany in Civita Castel­lana’s ce­ram­ics in­dus­try tra­di­tion. Since the 30’s GSI has been us­ing its en­tre­pre­neur­ial spirit to over­come mar­ket dif­fi­cul­ties.In this con­text the founders of the com­pany have clev­erly mod­elled tra­di­tional crafts­man­ship with evolv­ing tech­ni­cal in­no­va­tions in a Re­search and De­vel­op­ment process based on a work ethic and value sys­tem which fo­cuses on the hu­man in­sight and know-how typ­i­cal of Ital­ian in­dus­try. In this way there is a pro­duc­tive re­la­tion­ship be­tween in­vestors, man­age­ment, de­sign­ers and work­ers which has led to a vir­tu­ous cir­cle en­abling us to of­fer prod­ucts with a clean de­signs and high stan­dards of qual­ity, fol­low­ing what has be­come GSI’s by­word, “Ital­ian Made”.

The 90’s are those char­ac­ter­ized by a greater push to­wards in­no­va­tionin a process of trans­for­ma­tion that will bring the com­pany to a to­tal re­fur­bish­ment ob­tained with con­sid­er­able in­vest­ment and aimed at in­creas­ing the hu­man cap­i­tal and
tech­no­log­i­cal-pro­duc­tiv­ity. Aim­ing at ob­tain­ing tan­gi­ble re­sults in terms of in­no­va­tion is the fo­cus of GSI to­day thanks to
a re­newed man­age­ment team that strongly be­lieves in the new de­vel­op­ment plan. In a his­toric mo­ment like to­day, where cau­tion seems the only way for­ward, GSI ce­ram­ics con­tin­ues its pol­icy of growth build­ing a bridge to an up­com­ing fu­ture that will see the com­pany as a real pro­tag­o­nist and in­ter­preter of good Made in Italy.
